Leadership Built At Scale
Before real estate, Jason spent 17 years in corporate leadership at a Fortune 100 company, rising from the front line into senior management. Along the way he went through years of formal leadership training and development — the kind of structured, corporate-grade education most independent brokers never get. That grounding is why he can walk into a negotiation with a Fortune 50 real estate team and speak their language.
Part of that corporate track also put him in a consulting role, advising new retail store owners on what it actually takes to succeed in retail — inventory, staffing, opening operations, the details that decide whether a launch works. That experience is a direct line to the retail clients Day One serves today: Jason isn’t guessing at what a retail operator needs, he’s already advised operators through it.
A Partner Who Has Built What Clients Are Building
He left corporate to build his own companies. His first, a wholesale business, grew into an eight-figure international company he still owns and operates. He’s since founded and operated several other businesses as a serial entrepreneur, then moved into commercial real estate — building Day One with his co-founder to bring that same operator’s mindset to clients.
That entrepreneurial track record is the core of his value to clients: Jason has sat on the other side of the table — funding a buildout, managing cash flow through a slow opening, making the tough call on a location. He knows the pressure of being the one who has to make payroll, and he brings that perspective to every deal he negotiates for Day One’s clients, from first-time operators to Fortune 50 brands.
His focus at Day One is simple: clients don’t just get a broker, they get a partner who has actually built what they’re trying to build.
